Double JCG “A” Course Match

The May 22nd match was attended by 8 competitors. Weather conditions were mild and pleasant.

For the M1 Match, Fred Mathews placed first with a 282-7X, followed by Bruce Kawaguchi with a 270-5X and Mike DeSantis took third place with a 244-4X.

For the Springfield and Vintage Rifle Match, Bruce Kawaguchi took first place with a 275-2X, followed by Mike DeSantis who was second with a 249-2X.

In the Open Rifle Category Mike Miller placed first in both matches with a score of 289-10X and 287-7X. Tony Chow was very consistent in second place with a 286-8X and a 285-6X.

A personal thanks to Mike DeSantis for his assistance in setting up and breaking down the match equipment.

Gopher Flats will host a repeat of the double JCG Course Match on the 26th of June. Competitors will have the option of shooting an M1 Carbine Match after the M1/Springfield event. The M1 Carbine Match will be a 50-round match at 100 yards on the SR-1 target.
